Not just tidied — reset. Fixtures, mirrors, grout lines and any stone or engineered surfaces should be checked for the kind of build-up that accumulates slowly and goes unnoticed by anyone living in the home day to day.
2. Outdoor entertaining areas
Alfresco and outdoor dining spaces collect pollen, dust and a season of general grime while sitting largely unused through winter. Furniture, decking, and any stone or tiled surfaces underfoot deserve attention well before the first outdoor gathering, not on the morning of.
3. Kitchen prep zones and benchtops
